About the Wayback Machine, the regular web pages and thus saves the network quasi archived (sketchy, but at least in part), I pushed on ancient texts, which I sometime early 2005, then on my site must have. I have been privately contacted and asked to release the names of the cats that we were involved with in the UK. I have decided to do so, along with a post that all the people involved with the cats compiled whilst nursing them. It is long but I hope it will provide the information people are requesting. I know I can speak for everyone when I say it sums up our true feelings about what we have recently had to witness.

Decisions, decisions. We make them every day, but our cats are the ones to live with them forever. I have had the unfortunate and recent experience of recovering and bringing back into good health a large group of cats that have been subject to horror I can not even begin to accurately describe. Trapped in wooden boxes with no light, swimming in their own excrement, they were starving, disease ridden, and without hope. Near their eyes swollen shut with infection, bones barely covered with skin, these cats had not seen love, food, clean water, the light of day nor care of any kind in a long long time. His body had not seen food, nor medical attention in a long time. He died of hyperthroidism, septecemia, chronic liver and kidney failure, and the vet could find no trace of food in his body. The babies were in a wooden box swimming in their own excrement with no way of getting in or out when Donna and I picked them up I could see no food or water in the room and KJ was very thin. I feel it would have been a matter of days before she ate those babies. The breeder that I dropped off with those babies to bring up and back to good health cried and cried when she first saw them. These six week old babies weighed an average of only nine ounces each! Nine ounces at six weeks. It is a wonder they were still alive. Always Sanspelo Springtime, my darling Spring, the main reason I was kept going when I saw these cats. The mother to my own wonderful cat Isis. Positive herpes kittens her eyes closed with infection. Babies weighing at 11 weeks old 9 and a half ounces can you believe it, I nursed those babies round the clock feeding every twenty minutes tiny amounts of milk and lectade 24 / 7 The list goes on. Spring rehomed with her son Nelius, two sisters in that litter Thum-bare-lina and Jacquimo rehomed together, in homes where people know what they have and no other cats to pass on anything too. Red Dawn Sanspelo Vets reports in January of 2002 stated "please do not breed again this Mummy 'pregnant six weeks later, went on to
have another five Litters many babies died, all babies who did survive with chronic herpes, when Dawn came out she was very bad with the virus rehomed with Bebe and Safira. Sanspelo Broken Tail

Four of these cats were only imported into this country 18 months ago Bareangels KJ, Classytouch White Lace, Classytouch Sapphire Eyes, and Classytouch N Style, long after the warnings first appeared on the net about concern about this breeder.

And the goal here ... ... ... .... To make money. The almighty dollar was the sole purpose here. This was a "business" These cats were sold onto this situation by breeders, Breeders who made the decision that this place was one in which their babies should live. It is imperative that we make sound judgment in the placement of intact cats. "We as breeders are responsible for the lives we create. Our responsibility as breeders does not end at the point of sale. Rather, that is only the beginning of our responsibilities. We are responsible for the placement of ALL our babies. babies and our offspring as well. We are responsible for the creation of these lives, the decision / responsability for their welfare, and that of the entire breed, rest solely in our hands. We must take time to get to know well, the homes we place all of our kittens in. Hundreds of babies from the above mentioned cats have been sold onto breeding homes. Homes with people who want to get into the "business" of breeding cats. Homes with people who have little to no knowledge of basic animal husbandry, homes where at least some of these poor babies will become the
foundation of yet another situation like this. Filled with Filth, neglect, torture and cats in need of rescue again and again it has already happended and I am involved in yet another
welfare case from babies bred by these cats above. We must get to know well, the homes we place our babies in. Especially those we place as breeding cats. These cats deserve the
love and attention any pet gets treated well and in addition they deserve to be a responsible part of a program where the goal is to improve the breed, not to make money or just to make more cats. We do not need more cat and kittens. There are thousands in need of rescue now.

We need better Sphynx. We need better, more ethical breeders who's goal is to improve the breed. And we need breeders who will take the time to get to know, and newbies to take further time to distinguish which newbies are interested in becoming involved in the work to improve the Sphynx breed and those which just want to make more cats. We must mentor and guide those which have honest dedication to work toward the betterment of the breed and help to discourage those who choose poor breeding practices with Selfish goals. And we MUST Spay and neuter PRIOR to release to any pet home. The above situation does not limit itself only to those cats who are placed for breeding purposes, but also happens in cases of homes we thought were pet homes.
People get lazy and do not alter. They change their mind and decide to breed cats they had agreed to Neut. They turn to outside cat cerning for themselves because they are making too much noise screaming in frustration in the heat. Cats of the reproductive disease in homes where they should simply have been altered from the ignorance of pet owners who had no knowledge of things we know as breeders. For every unaltered "PET" you sell. At least SOME will make it into breeding programs. And YOU are responsible for the out come. Is it worth the risk? Not for me. I can not bear the thought of any of my babies ending up in the situation that I have just Rescued from these poor souls. I would quit rather than breeding to be a contributing participant in the above situation, or any like it. I for one want to alter each and every one of my pet kittens. I will only allow intact cats to go to close friends who's responsible breeding programs I know well, and where I KNOW my babies will be loved and cared for contribute to the betterment of the breed. And I should ever breed a perfect Sphynx so as to belong in a breeding program and neither I nor any of my close working partners in breeding can have it contribute to our programs. I shall Revel in the honor of having produced such a lovely a pet, age it and find it the perfect pet home. Old and I shall find the best home for all my pet Sphynx and only work with those ethical breeders who I know well and who's programs I KNOW my babies will be loved, cared for and will be part of the
continuing improvement of the Sphynx breed. I am responsible for the lives I create. Are you?
