Today I got good mews: Mommy Eli talked to tha vet lady, and Granny Izi is OK! The vet lady said Granny Izi´s blood values are good. Her kidney values are in the upper third level, but for age that´s no reason to worry. And her blood cholesterol level is a little low. But tis is only because Granny Izi likes to sleep in and misses breakfast! I always telled her! Oh, and the Vet sayed that Granny had a lill´ infection lately…nofing bad. But she could tell from the blood. Vetsies are smart humans! And the Vet Lady telled Mommy Granny Izi can live until she is 20 years old if she stays like tis. OK, she might not look as good wif 20 years…just look at her now…mommy taked a picture and wouldn´t you be afraid tis kitty is sick if you saw her? But no…perfectly healthy!

Today is a sad day. Our pawsie friend Storm will go over da rainbowbridhe today…The vet will visit her for a last time at 2 p.m. her time - that´s 3 p.m our time sayed Mommy Eli. The Furry Fighter Storm winned her fight against feline lymphoma - not only once, but twice! She outlived her diagnosed live expectancy by far…the doctors telled her she will only make it 6-9 more month, but Storm succefully fought her disease for 18 month. 18 month of a happy live wif her friendsies…Me thinks this is a great victory! Let´s all purr and purray for Storm and her meowmie and keep her in good memory!

Oh, I just remember a song Mommy listend to lately…there it said:

Why am I loved only when I’m gone? | Gone back in time to bless the child | Think of me long enough to make a memory | Come bless the child one more time

I think that´s what we should do: Think of Storm long enough to make a memory…

Hi yous!

Mommy went to the vet with Granny Izi yesterday and da vet seid we schouldn´t worry to much…she took Izi´s blood and we will get the resulties today or tomorrow.

The knobbies on Izi´s belly don´t seem to bad. The vet said it could be varicose veins or cysts. But still there is one knot to worry about…we really have to watch it closely and when it starts to grow it has to be removed. So much about the knobbies…

The leggie-shakies might be due to some heartproblem. But the vet couldn´t really listen to Izi´s heart, because she was so angry and mad that her heart was beating real fast. But the vet said there had been some tones that didn´t sound good to her.

Granny´s teeth are not to bad either. But where does this bad mouth odor come frome if not from the teeth? And it´s really bad…me hopes it´s not a sign for kindney-failure, ´cause Mommy said that is what kitties smell like from there mouth when the kidneys start to fail.

So all we can do is to wait for the results of the blood count…so please keep purring hard! Me doesn´t want to loos Granny Izi! And me knows Mommy Eli will be really said…oh, me hopes efurrything will be good…

Hi efurrybody,

Mommy Eli had been gone for some days…she said she went to a con - went - shin. Me has no idea whut that means…But now she is home again. And Mommy is really worried, because Granny Izi ist not doing well these days. Izi never had much furries on her, but now she is nearly naked…and she is really sleepy. She dusn´t even get up in the monring when Mommy is preparing our breakfast! Me would have to be really sick to miss breakfast. Tuday Mommy wunts to take Granny Izi to the vet to have efurrything checked. Izi´s teeth are bad said Mommy, and some might have to be removed. She telled me to always brush my teeth - what a stoopid idea! And Granny Izi got some weird knobby-thingies around one of her milk-bar-outlets. Mommy is really scared those might be tumors…me thinks there must be milk gone bad somewhere inside Granny Izi! Well, we´ll when Mommy and Granny Izi get back…but for now I need effurbody to keep paws and fingers crossed that efurrything is OK with Granny Izi!

Tonite me had lots of fun! I taked my lill´ white furball into mommy´s bed and played wif it…that was really cool! But Mommy wasn´t too happy…she sayed she had to sleep and she can´t sleep when me plays in bed at night time.

Mommy tried to throw the ball out of her bed, and this was even more fun! I played retriever dog and brought it back to Mommy and she throwed it again and again. I don´t understand why Mommy didn´t like tha game as much as I did…

In the morning Auntie Signe beated me really bad. I got so scared! Mommy putted Auntie Signe into the bedroom wif Grandma Izi, so she can´t hurt me while Mommy is gone to earn money for our food. She already tried this yesterday, but Auntie Signe is smart and nows how to open doors…but today Mommy showed Auntie Signe that humans are smarter than kitties: she looked the door wif a key! Tonight Mommy said she will have a serious talk wif us because we will have to get along somehow…

And Mommy said today is Frootbat Friday! She showed me this old picshure of blueman, and me thinks this ears have to be frootbat ears! He was about 14 weeks old when the pickshure was taken and just went through his naked stage. I wus really shocked when I saw him naked, but Mommy sayed this is normal for a Devon Rex. They are born curly and loose their fur at about 12 weeks of age - but it grows back!

Tuday is Thursday Thirteen and Mommy telled me I should make a list wif thriteen thingies I want…this is really tough, because me wants so many nice things in tha world! Well, here we go:

Hi efurrybodym today is Tuesday and this means TABBY TUESDAY! And today I want to show you a very special tabby…Blaumann! Mommy telled me this means Blueman in English…well, his real name is Wizard blue of Isis of Philae, and he is a blue tabby mackerel Devon Rex. And me has got a secret…you wanna know me´s secret? He is my boyfriend! I like him a lot and we spent much timer chasing each other around the housie. He is really cute! And his fur is curly and soft!

Hi efurrybody, first I have bad mews: Bonnie Underfoot didn´t survive her last fight. I purred really hard, but it didn´t help her. Me is a sad kitty…

But there is a new kitty-friend to purr for…´Lill Dancer is really sick. He has somefing called a liver shunt…me didn´t know what that is, but mommy explained. Blood has to flow frough the liver, so all bad stuff is extracted from the blood. But when you got a liver shunt, there is an arteria that bypasses the liver. And then the liver can´t celan the blood. Whut is really bad. Dancer needs surgery really bad, but like all the surgery-thingies this is going to be really expensive…it will cost somefing like $ 2.500 and mommy said this is like seven years catfood. Seems to be a lot lot of money! So please visit Dancer and if you can spare some money go on and hit da paypal button for him!

And now I got good mews…guess what! Mommy is home! And she won´t have to leave again! She only has to go back to hospital on monday one more time to talk to the doctor. but she doesn´t have to stay! Me is so happy! I have been cuddling wif Mommy Eli the whole night. And I did the cookie-baking-thingie on her bellie all the time. Mommy already said that I will digg through her belly one day, but I dun´t believe that. Me is really gentle wif Mommy´s tummy! The human vets telled mommy there is a nerve pinched in her belly…it´s kind of stuck where it runs through a muscle and when she sits for a while it starts to hurt like somebody is sticking a knife in Mommy´s tummy. But she can try some medicine - and maybe it helps! Like Auntie Signes medicine did! I purr really hard for Mommy!

Auntie Signe is stil doing OK, but she is not as good as she haf been the last days. Mommy telled me this might be because it has been getting warmer again. Auntie Signe chokes, when she tries to purr hard, because she has problems breafing. And she seems to swallow a lot of air…how I know that? Well, the air comes out again - but on her back-end…Stinky! The vets said this is because of the breafing-problem, too…instead of pulling the air in her lung, it goes to her stomach…poor Auntie!

Yesterday we had a big dog visiting us! And me wus a hero-kitty again! I spitted at the doggie, and showed him that we kitties have to be respected. But the doggie wus really nice…so at the end of the evening I took a little nose full of doggie-smell and it wusn´t so bad after all - maybe I start liking doggies now!

I have to finish now because Mommy has to go and visit the horsie…she said a horsies is like a big cat to ride on. She showed me picture and me thinks horsies are cool cats!

Hi, me is soo happy! Mommy wus home from hospital today! Well, she wus only home to visit us for a couple of hourse, and haf to go back now. But at least we got some cuddles and belly rubs from her! We we could give her some get-well-purrs. Mommy telled me that there is something wrong with her belly because somtetimes it suddenly starts to hurt real bad. But the doctors at the hospital couldn´t find whut is wrong with mommies belly yet. They did many weird thingies like put a camera in mommies belly, but they finded nothing there..And tonight mommy haf to go back. But if we are really lucky mommy can come home for the weekend!

Auntie Signe is still doing fine, but Mommy said we have wait until Auntie Signe is finished wif her medication. Mommy telled me that sometimes when kitties get medication they seem to do much betta first and when the medication is empty it gets worse again…we purr that this doesn´t happen to Auntie Signe! Although the day before yesterday she beated me really bad. I wus so scared that I made a mess all over my nice furr. I wus so embarrassed, you wouldn´t believe it! But Daddy putted me into the bathtub, and cleaned efurrything up. And he telled Auntie Signe to be nice…and she behaved after that! Daddy is really cool ´cause he makes Auntie Signe be nice to me…

So we still keep purring for Mommy Eli and Auntie Signe…and all the other kitties and beans who need purr.

We send many purrs to Mu Shue, the hero whoe rescued his sissy-cats from da fire when Mom Laura´s home bunrt down. Mu Shue ist really sick, and we all hope he gets better sooooon! And of course we purr for Bonnie, who is sick, too. Oh, and I nearly forgetted to mention Sissy who has touble with a tumor…she doesn´t want to eat anymore! But we want her to! Eat, Sissy, eaaaat! We all purr for your appetite to come back…
