Purray for Signe!

Today we need lots of purrs and purrayers :(…
I went to the vet today to get my last vaccination ´gainst kittie-flu and …somefing else I forgetted the name of.
And we taked Auntie Signe wif us, ´cause mommy Eli said Signe looked really sick, and she wus worried. Auntie Signe had been diagnosed with a mast cell tumor in her mouth, wut is not good as mommy Eli said. The problem is that this thingie can make lill´baby tumors in other parts of te kittie body like the lungs or the stomach. And mommy Eli wus really scarde that Auntie Signe had tumors in her throat now, since she made weired noises and wus choking and snorring. Sounded really bad!
The vet-lady maked an x-ray of Auntie Signe…and had really bad news: On the picture wus a big shadows on Auntie Signe´s right wing of the lungs…and she a lot of air in her stomach. The vet-Lady said this shows that Auntie Signe has a hard time breafing. It seems like the tumor has spreaded to Auntie Signes lungs - whut is REALLY BAD! Tis means auntie Signe won´t be wif us for a long time any more….
Te vet-lady gived her a shot of antibiotics and steroids to make her feel better again. She saided maybe it will help Auntie Signe to have sume more nice weeks wif us! Oh, please all te kitties and peoplez out there, purr and purray for auntie Signe!
Whut worries us kitties, too, is that Mommy Eli haf to go to te hospital on Monday because there is somefing wrong wif her belly. Nofing really bad, but she might be gone te whole week! Daddy is gonna take care of us very well, we know that, but wif auntie Signe sick and Mommy Eli gone…it will be a bad time.
Please evfurrybody, keep fingers and pawsies crossed so efurryfing will get well again!

i am so sorry to hear about Auntie Signe. i’s posted it on our Pet Purrs & Purrayers bloggie as well as the Cat Blogosphere. we’s all be purraying and purring fur sweet Auntie Signe and for Mom Eli an tha whole entire fambly.

This is so sad, Aunt Signe looks like such a lovely girl. I hope she feels as well as she can during the time she has left with you. I hope your Mummy is ok too and doesn’t have to spend too long at the hospital and comes home soon, safe and sound. Love to you all xx

Oh Femi, we’re so sorry that Aunt Signe is so sick. We’ll purr and purray and send positive thoughts to her, ‘cos we want her to have as much quality time with her family as possible, even though she’s sick. As well, we hope Mommy Eli gets well herself and gets to come out of hospital really quickly.

Thank you so much everybody! Signe is feeling better today, but we know this is due to the steroids she got yesterday. We don´t know what will happen when the short-time effect of her meds is gone…so please keep all fingers and pawsies crossed!

I’m so glad that Auntie Signe is feeling better, and I hope it does last. It’s very hard on her, so she might be a little short-tempered for a while. You are a very good and useful kitten to worry about her.
